Pharoah Sanders
The New Yorker

Pharoah Sanders, to me, represents a kind of silence that all my favourite artists possess. And it’s not a stillness of expression, but it is a stillness of thought. It’s this ability to hear oneself without interruption. this assignment came at a time when i felt like i’d been out of touch with that part of myself, and i was grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with that again. thanks to my AD, Chris Curry for bringing me along on this astral trip through space and time.
